VectorLinux is a small, fast, Slackware-based Linux distribution. It requires only 425M of disk space and 16M of RAM, and retains full functionality with a GUI desktop, full development environment, FTP server, sendmail, networking utilities, laptop support, and a full range of desktop and console applications. It is also available as a console-only system.

The kernel has been updated to version 2.6.7. A submount filesystem has been added for automounting of removable media. All the base programs and libraries have been upgraded to their latest stable versions. Mozilla-1.7 is configured to have Java, Flash, and video streaming working out of the box. Rox-Filer is now the default desktop file manager, using its pinboard feature to manage icons. A new GUI-configurable firewall (Gshield) has replaced the old firewall script. ALSA is now the default sound system. The automatic hardware detect feature has been improved, and printing service is now an installable option.

TopologiLinux is an easy-to-install Linux distribution that is designed to be run on top of or inside your Windows computer without requiring repartitioning. It mounts itself using a loop-back device and can be run from a DOS, Windows 9x, or Windows 2000/XP system with an NTFS or FAT partition. It is based on Slackware 10.0 and contains some extra packages like OpenOffice.org and Wine.

Colinux was integrated, making it possible to run TopologiLinux from within Windows. A new grub-based boot manager was also added. The installation was rewritten and new scripts were included. The packages were upgraded to Slackware 10 with updates until 14 October 2004. Demo and full versions are now available - the demo is about 350MB and contains X, KDE, networking, and libraries, while the full version is supplied on two CDs

BasicLinux is a mini-Linux distribution designed specifically for old PCs. It provides a slim 2.2.16 kernel, a user-friendly shell and a good assortment of utilities. It includes a Web browser, a comm program, an email client, a telnet client, wget, DHCP, and dial-up PPP. It also includes a small footprint GUI, and is able to run remote X (via network) with as little as 4 MB RAM.[B]内容:[/B]
The BasicLinux footprint has been reduced. It now runs on a 386 with 3mb RAM. A comm program and a Web server have been added. The Web browser and email client have been significantly improved. A slim X server has been added with swm, rxvt, xli, and calctool.
